Enjoy the world of subscription free HD TV

Freesat gives you access to over 170 TV channels and 24 radio stations giving you more choice. With Freesat you have access to all available High Definition channels and BBC iPlayer.

Freesat+ HD allows you to pause, rewind and record live TV. There is no monthly fees and no subscriptions. All you need is a set top box and a satellite dish; you can use your existing satellite dish.

Over-the-air software upgrade for DTR94 freesat range will start on 19 April 2012. Once we've started to broadcast a new software your unit will automatically detect the new software within 30 minutes after being switched on. For more information about the software upgrade please visit our Support Community.

What is the difference between Freesat HD and Freesat+ HD?

Freesat HD receives high definition and standard definition channels via a satellite dish while Freesat+ HD on top of that allows you pause, rewind and record live TV.

What do I need to enjoy Freesat?

To received Freesat you will need a freesat receiver / recorder, a satellite dish and ideally a HD Ready TV..

How can I watch BBC iPlayer?

To access BBC iPlayer and enjoy programmes from the last seven days you will need to have an ethernet connection.

If I already have a satellite dish can I use it with a Freesat set top box?

You can connect your existing satellite dish to your freesat set top box. You may need to make adjustments.

What if I don't have a satellite dish?

If you don't have a satellite dish you can ask your local retailer for an installation pack, it can be arranged when buying a product.
