What if I am unable to read the display screen when phone is in use?

The contrast may be set up to too low.

Adjusting the contrast:

Go to Settings / Contrast
List with five levels of contrast will be displayed
Select the level you want by using the up and down keys. The contrast is immediately visible on the screen.
When you are happy with the level of contract please press Valid / OK

What if I cannot hear the ring when call is received?

Turn off the "mute" mode.

To turn it off take the following steps:

Go to Ring Tone / Silent mode from the menu
If the "silent mode" is displayed, press Yes to activate it.

What if there is no tone?

If there is tone check the following:

The base cable is connected.
Increase the speaker volume.

Check the connections:

On the underside of the base click the phone jack into its socket. The other end of the cord connect to the telephone wall outlet.
Connect the power supply cord onto the base and the power adapter to the mains socket.
